REGISTRATION<\/u><\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n

DEADLINE: Performers must be registered by June 30, 2016 in order to participate.<\/span><\/p>\n

CHECK IN: <\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Performers must check in at the MANDATORY REGISTRATION <\/strong>on the day of the audition. Mandatory Registration will be done as follows:<\/p>\n

A performer\u00a0may check in 60 minutes prior to the start of auditions but no later than 5 minutes before\u00a0the audition begins.<\/p>\n

Youth Auditions (16 and under) begin at 12 PM (40 maximum performers)<\/p>\n

Adult Auditions (17+) \u00a0begin at 2 PM (40 maximum performers)<\/p>\n

Failure to check in will result in automatic disqualification from the Auditions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

RULES<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Prepare a 2 minutes for auditions<\/li>\n
  2. Prepare a 4 minute routine for Finals<\/li>\n
  3. Bands bring their own instruments<\/li>\n
  4. Bring a CD with your song<\/li>\n
  5. No fire, sharp objects, weapons or explosives (pyrotechnics) allowed.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    JUDGING CRITERIA<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

    25 points = Poise on stage (i.e., how you present yourself on stage)<\/p>\n

    25 points = Presentation of talent (including appropriate dress)<\/p>\n

    25 points = Quality of Performance<\/p>\n

    25 points = Originality of the performer(s)<\/p>\n

    100 POINTS = MAXIMUM NUMBER OF POINTS PER ACT<\/strong><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    TIE-BREAKER:<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>The audience will determine the winner by applause<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    PENALTY POINTS:<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    EXCEEDING THE PERFORMANCE TIME LIMIT PER ACT:<\/p>\n

    MINUS 10 POINTS = for every 20 seconds past the \u00a0time limit per act.<\/p>\n

    DISQUALIFICATION = If you or your group exceed the time limit beyond\u00a060 seconds, you\/your group will be disqualified!<\/p>\n

    \u00a0<\/strong>NO RULES WILL BE REVISITED<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
